Hopefully we’ll be treated to a lengthy and nostalgic roast, followed by a comfortable retirement for Walt. ✨❤️✨

The statue in the last panel looks familiar. Anybody?

Anybody else feel this is Walt’s final destination and new home? Everybody is hiding ready to welcome him “home”.

At the least, it’s a surprise centennial roast for Walt (and Gasoline Alley).Beyond that… for quite some time, it has seemed to me that “retiring” Walt to the old funnies home would be a way to continue with the mostly real-time aging format of the GA cast without having him “die” or get improbably older and older. He could still appear in the strip as often as he has been – just have Skeezix and the others visit him at the home.
