I’ve heard that it’s natural that people feel less like stuffing their faces as they get older. Mind you, it hasn’t happened to ME, at least not yet.

It’s a three-part classics update for the 9th:
Horse’s Neck is ready for battle, and no one can convince him otherwise. Even if he has to go all by himself.
Brenda breaks in on Basil doing some ghoulish experiment, and Basil expressing his love for our Starr is so moving, even the cadaver sits up and takes notice.
It’s crunch time for Sarge and Pert as they turn the screws on Slim to sign his life away on some 30-year mortgage. I wonder what Skeezix will think when he finds out what Sarge has got his only daughter into. (I wonder if Sarge thought this out at all.) Pert is of course, Pert.
As one who has been around long enough to have known a few people who were born in the 19th century, it’s a bit disconcerting to realize that they’re all gone now. As such, cartoon character or not, I’m all for keeping Walt around for as long as possible.

From the look on Walt’s face, I think he already envisions the Grim Reaper.

Gertie, and Skeezix, should be glad Walt is not eating as much. He needs to lose weight.
