First things first.

It’s strange for Skeezix to call Walt “Pappy,” although the rhyme requires it. Skeezix always calls him “Uncle Walt,” although Walt is his adoptive father.

I presume the hilarious finish to this story is that the attorney’s bill will equal the amount of the fines?

If you were eating lunch, the story might not be as good . .
