Sorry about yesterday, fans. Just couldn’t make the magic happen. But we’re back with a near double full bag of tricks for the classics update of the 5th and 6th:
Our singleton is set all the way across the pond, as Phyllis’ ship has come in and she’s on European soil at last. Though the amenities are as old school as the quaint customs.
Doc takes his new horse out for a ride, but ends up walking back into town. This relationship is on the rocks. Rick is called on to break up a Saturday Night fight down at the saloon.
As all of Gotham is talking about the missing stowaway, Brenda brings Vallorie to work with her. Since it’s called “work”, Mr. Livwright gives the kid something to do. But I bet her salary is coming out of our Starr’s pay.
Mr. Best doesn’t cut Corky off from his heating oil delivery route, but the Wallets shouldn’t expect any favors for awhile. Hack and Sarge try to figure out how to keep warm down at the garage.
On 5/11/2024, Walt ate a grilled cheese sandwich and said, “Delicious, Gertie! You make a grilled cheese take like a steak!” Gertie responds, “It sure saves on the price of meat!” It’s bad enough that Jimbo draws out a story as long as possible but now he is just repeating jokes he already did. Sad.
