I had a kid in a burger joint shortchange me by 2 bucks once. I noticed before I got to the door, and went straight back to the counter. He was standing by his friends and kept ignoring me, but it was obvious he knew I was there. Finally I yelled, âHEY, THIEF! GET OVER HERE AND GIVE ME THE REST OF MY CHANGE!â I know I could be heard anywhere in the building. He apologised for the âmistakeâ, but I didnât have to tell him how much I was short.
