“Ha ha! Eww! I’d see that!” Sounds exactly like my brother-in-law.

At least Bucky is up to date on his slang…" Fly" circa 1990’s

Please stop the stupid puns. This is why I gave up “Pearls Before Swine.”

orinoco, it really is amazing how some slang words fill a nitch for years and hang in there….I don’t think the word “cool” will ever go out of style..whereas “groovy” didn’t last that long….I love slang….

Funny what Varnes said about “cool”. I bought a leather key fob in 1970 depicting Snoopy wearing a pair of shades and red turtleneck stamped Joe Cool. Still use the fob even tho Snoopy’s pic faded long ago.

Enough already Mr. Conley! Time to put Bucky in the canvas backed director’s chair ala Kubrick/Stone with a dash of Kirosawa..He’s certainly eccentric enough.

Get Fuzzy is my favorite strip. Darby’s sense of humor is dry, witty, quirky, epigrammatic, satirical, mordant and even sophomoric at times. All across the board. I love it all.
