I found out a couple of days ago that I’m not supposed to wear my watch at work. Some kind of OSHA thing, I think. The millennials above me don’t realize that for someone of my generation, leaving the house without a wristwatch is about like leaving the house with your fly open and toilet paper stuck to your shoe.
Go Satchel Go ! By the way Bucky where is your watch and what time is it ? Love it when somebody who doesn’t wear a watch asks me what time it is because they are to lazy to pull out a phone ;-)
The original arc about “Handy” the watch was my favorite storyline in the strip. It came from the days when Bucky would occasionally do nice things for Satchel. (He both found Satchel’s lost watch in a storm drain and repaired it for him.)
I’m 73 and wear a very good analog wristwatch. Moreover, it has a self-winding mechanical movement so it doesn’t need to have batteries replaced or recharged. And it keeps excellent time. It should, its a certified chronometer. I also carry a cell phone.

Shaun the Sheep’s dog friend Bitzer wore a watch, but he used his. Of course, it disappeared every time he got down on 4 legs…

There’s not much trick to telling time anymore since most clocks are digital. Do they still teach kids how to read an analog clock?

Satchel is much more intelligent than we give him credit for, at least in geography!

Don’t look to Rob for help on this Buck, you’re on your own here and deservedly so.

Nothing is worse than a joke falling flat because of miss-applied knowledge

This is my favorite thing when the misunderstandings between Bucky and Satchel go very far astray from the original topic. Bravo!
