For Bucky to bring roadkill “into” the apartment means he has access to the outdoors. Rob can simply lock Bucky in or better yet lock him out.
It’s such a nice touch that Bucky is eating it at the table (and literally on the tablecloth).
Cat’s don’t eat road kill, that’s a dog thing.
