“Butty” was originally a bread and butter sandwich, a staple during World War II and subsequent shortages. Now has comes to refer to sandwiches in general.

Clearly Rob had no idea.

Should this cat be a “guest” in these comic strips? “Breaking Cat News”? “Garfield”? “Heathcliff” “Felix the Cat”? Name more? Maybe him and Chubby Huggs can do a tour through many different comic strips for a week even though that will take forever but why not? It will give people something to read in comic strips that they normally don’t read!!!

I am mostly familiar with the Cockney speak of “My Fair Lady” and “The Bugaloos”, sometimes it is VERY hard to understand what Mac is saying. That is part of the charm of this character.
