Being offended is the default state of a significant number of Americans. Any attempt to be inoffensive is considered a insulting slight. It’s the only way they derive any enjoyment out of life. Therefore, the only logical conclusion is that one must be deliberately offensive in self-defense. Which explains the truth of the old maxim, “the best defense is a good offense.” Right? /s
