So why is Maris suddenly butting in after all these years? Or has he always done it, and it’s a side of Milford life we’ve never seen? Where was he when Gil hired Kaz?

I hope Steve Luhm has his mop handy, this Wildcat appears to be trying to mark his territory.P3 – “I have a better idea” – thats why I’m holding my hand like I’m unscrewing a light bulb that just appeared above my head.

It will soon become obvious why Gil has never hired Maris I’m sure….and he’ll wish he didn’t this time. But Gil being the softy that he is, will put him on staff and soon regret it.

Mildcat looks like a fan of nepotism. He will con Gil into hiring his long lost brother, the shifty, vagabond, “Shooter like” character from the movie “Hoosiers”, Polecat Maris. Maybe I’m reaching, it could happen.

@kdizzle – Here I am, just waiting for the chance to wipe the floor with Mr. All-State. You just know he’s going to be a pain in the ass in some way.

Carbone’s Cave could be seeing some action and a new “resident” real soon.

Funny thing is that Roger Maris didn’t even play baseball in high school in North Dakota. His school was too small to have a team. He played American Legion ball. When T. Boone Pickens (he gave 150 mil to Okla. State athletics) was asked if he thought he should be consulted on a coaching hire, he responded " I better be."
