Yes a perfect “goose egg” season!

Not me, Michael, but my guess is these guys throw in occasional nods to people (and said people’s places) they know … I remember a few years back seeing a couple of central North Carolina schools show up in here … schools I used to cover when I was a sportswriter there many, uh, moons ago … now THAT was cool.

A lot of characters’ names come from Michigan also.

Kaz: “Heidi Ho Gil, it seems to me we should seek an educated toe.” Gil: “Gee. I never made the connection. Thanks Mr. Obvious, err Kaz, you’re a life saver.”

At least Gil is letting the fellas finish off the twelve-pack on the bus ride home. I assume Wildcat has Bobby trying on the square-toed kicking shoes he just picked up off E-bay. Wildcat will have Gil looking in the classifieds for that greeters job at Wal-mart.

I’m having the same problem with my fantasy football team.

Bluedarter has this pegged with the can of Miller Lite on the bus. Isn’t that supposed to wait until a few victories in the playdowns?

Chip has a sister who can really kick, if you know what I mean.

Wow – that bus has a cathedral ceiling, Milford spares no expense for the football team.

Milford increases its non-conference schedule…

Belle Plaine sounds like the shady lady with the heart of gold in an old western novel.
