It was so obvious no one expected it. But why does anyone think Gil called the play? True probably overrode Gils call to run a fullback dive or go for a field goal.

Now that the halfback option pass is in the next opponent’s scouting report, Gilford may want to run it to the right and have True run a wheel route to the left, A handy wrinkle to my favorite play.

I’m curious as to what hand signals Pascoe used to call that play.
