It would be interesting if the writers would tackle the current issues in school concerning Title 9. It would need to be done respectfully. Neither side in the issue should look stupid, foolish or unreasonable. Kids, parents, faculty and administration could be depicted having a civil discussion without the strip taking sides or portraying one viewpoint or another as the right one or the wrong one. What do we do about bathrooms, locker rooms, gender identity in general? When I was a kid, we always took showers (sometimes at the request of our next-hour teachers). Today, kids refuse to take showers. Some kids even arrive at school in the morning in serious need of a shower before they arrive and refuse to take one at school because they don’t want to be seen by members of their own birth gender when they are undressed. If so, I understand why they would be uncomfortable with somebody in the locker room whose birth gender was opposite what he or she said their current gender was.
