Cutting school to catch a matinee? Not seeing Avatar or a Marvel movie? Kids. what’s the matter with kids these days? Why can’t they be like we were, perfect in every way.

It’s probably one of those hip theaters in the hip part of a non-Milford town that shows old, hip movies.

P-2: Pedro is fascinated by the acne next to Keri’s nose, while Keri is having trouble reading the dialog frames in a silent movie while drinking at the same time.

P-3: Pedro & Keri are in a theater full of new readers. Pedro (being young) has premature Valentine elation.

Guessing that theater is no making a great deal of money.

Is this the theater in Crankshaft that shows really old movies? It’s named the “Valentine”, so that would be appropriate. Based on the size of the crowd, it doesn’t seem really to have caught on with Milford’s youth, however. The kids in town these days are into much more up-to-date entertainment venues, such as allegedly bootleg DVDs of Titanic.

The question is, who will be Keri’s Valentine’s Day date on Valentine’s Day and what kind of teen touchy-feely high-jinx will ensue?

Based on the fact that a whopping 4 people are watching this movie, I’m guessing that Pedro isn’t rolling in the dough like Toby is with his vape reseller business. All he could afford was this afternoon $2 special. And speaking of special, the date isn’t any more special for Pedro in today’s Mopped Up Thorp. In fact it’s going much worse.
