Mama, I’m dying of a heart attack, heart attack, heart attack / I love that girl but she don’t love me back / My girl she tells me that we’re breaking up, breaking up, breaking up / My heart can’t handle the strain that’s shaking it
I think I deserve a prize for my comments two days ago.
“I guess this is just like in the movies. Gil pushes the other player out of danger but then gets hit himself. Is this the end for Gil? Will he need the Medivac helicopter? Will he be in a coma? Will he and Meemaw both head towards the light together?”
In all seriousness, thank you for your years of artwork, Rod. Despite the good natured ribbing about the drawing at times. And nice to see one last big hand in his final panel (even though it’s partially obscured).
Time mercifully ran out this morning in Milford. OH as the visiting undefeated Anderson Raptors hung a 57-6 loss and a second half running clock on the Eagles. Milford fades to 3-3 overall and 2-3 and tied for seventh in the Valley.

P-1: A private plane is confused that the Sea Gull won’t answer it.
P-2: Whig’s is going High Brow with his latest Museum piece: “Studies in Grey ans White”

Knowing how these two can’t get basic facts about sports right, why do we expect medical accuracy?
Gil had complications from a hysterectomy.
Or Beth had a heart attack while giving air head.

I might have quibbled with the storylines, but Rod Whigham’s art was consistently good and often great. Blue skies, Rod.

Best wishes, Mr. Whigham. Before you go, can you ease over to Gasoline Alley and collect some more souls?

Nope. Signing up for Clear at the airports is not worth it. Too expensive. Stick with TSA Precheck.
