This one brings to mind something I had learned when I read about pizza in an Italian magazine during my 20s. What I learned is this: How pizza comes when we make it homeade is the way it is supposed to be (light and healthy) which is also similar to how it is in Italy (land of my ancestors, I’m full Italian) minus the break oven. When pizza was brought here to the US it got changed by the pizza parlors, for years I had tried to capture the pizza parlor way of making pizza homeade but never got close. But reading that article had brought me peace of mind about it. Bottom line: Making it homeade is the traditional way of making it. Yes, I’m also aware that there is no right or wrong way of making a pizza.
