What's this old thing of yours? It's a record. What record did you set? Not that kind of record-a music record. It held two songs. Two hundred? No, just two. And when one song was finished you had to flip it over. Couldn't you just hit the fast-forward button on your portable music device? No, they hadn't been invented. And yet she keeps referring to her clearly disadvantaged upbringing as a happy childhood. We need to watch her more closely, she starting to lose it.
Mom made dad get rid of all his old records at a garage sale a few years ago. He had a lot of old Country/Western. I think the guy that bought them would have been willing to pay 10 times the amount mom was asking. There were a lot of artists that are long gone and have not been transferred to CD.
