Who builds the bridges in that town? Where did they go to engineering school?

gothic_beautyThey were quite popular in the early 20th century for parks and similar public venues. However, they had steps, not a ramp, and quickly fell from favor as those incapable of using them organized, and now they are essentially outlawed under ADA.

Really? Wow, I didn’t know that! I thought I was asking a rhetorical question… That being said, I’m not surprised that they were outlawed… They hardly look practical!
