Only if you hate school, as so many kids do.

Actually, a kid’s school year is about one half of an adult’s work year when you include spring break, teacher training days, holiday breaks, snow days, etc. It gets way better in retirement; it’s mostly Satudays then.

So how long do those hang-dog expressions last?

These second graders do have some advanced thoughts.

And fifty years will pass but it’ll seem like one.

Formula we were taught for our dogs was 21 human years for the first year, then 4 for each year after that. One was equivalent to 37 when she died from peritonitis; the others ranged from 76 to 88.
