My Doxie is an essential scent hound. I let her have 20 minutes a day at the local university campus (now almost deserted) to be a dog. It is so much fun and amazing as she tracks squirrel scents. Her reward is occasionally treeing a squirrel and giving it an ear full of barks.
Totally my dog. Try taking a dog for a walk in the country where numerous wild animals have trudged in the previous days…if it was up to him, a half mile walk would take all day!
