Our tangerine tree is getting ready to do that to us. We start saving the plastic grocery bags when the green fruit pops up. By the time it’s ripe, we have plenty of bags to give it away in!

It’s been a hot dry summer, then the last two weeks of August, heavy rain. Some crops recovered better than others.

Co-worker tells me she is feeding a family of six by picking each night.
