I’m pretty sure I’ve seen this one before.

Dad always used to say: “I hope you have a kid just like you.” In a Chinese curse kind of way.

My mother used to tell me, “I hope you have kids just like Calvin”.

Hi Joe, yes you have seen this before. Ucomics is rerunning a lot of cartoons: For Better or for Worse, The Norm, Cavin and Hobbes and some that I don’t read. Tatulli is creating new Lio and isn’t updating Heart anymore.

Heart of the City as one collection in book form and I recommend it highly.

My husband does this now.

Hee hee… and Addy’s mom says, better late than never!

The solution is simple. My kids washed their own clothes, under supervision until they could do it on their own. They learned early about sorting colors, water temperature, etc. It’s good for kids to develop competence and responsibility. It gives them confidence. (They packed their own lunches on schools days, too, without much supervision, and learned about good nutrition in the process.)

I’m fairly certain that new Heart comics are being created. At least I can’t find any news that Mark stopped creating new ones.

It’s a shame if he is abandoning Heart for Lio – I much prefer this one. Lio is cute and appeals to the younger crowd and I guess that’s where newspapers (and maybe cartoonists) feel the money is at now – but my own hometown newspaper found that to be a fallacy, and is suffering the consequences these days.

NOOOOoooooo! Please don’t take Heart away. Mark I love Heart and besides too many strips are going away just when you really get into them ……they…just……stop.

Yeah I agree! Mark, I love Heart too. Don’t stop new episodes of her adventures.

Let me add my voice to that as well. We want Heart ! She sure figured her mom out (^_^)
