I know someone with three degrees, and they’re working part-time at Lowe’s. Another person I know, who has a master’s in social work and many years of experience, is working as a cashier at Home Depot. Another I used to know had a degree in chemical engineering; he ended up managing an independent convenience store. Since they are degreed, they have more than “almost enough college credits.” All these people are worth a lot more than minimum wage, and their degrees are far from worthless. But for some, their old jobs are eliminated through budget cut-backs, or lay-offs, or other wonderful “business decisions.” Many others don’t even get interviews because they “don’t have the experience,” which is counterproductive at best.=Not everyone should go to college. Butif you finish high school with a broad education that is worthy of college, you’ll at least have more options. You can go to college or business school or something else, but get the good, broad education while you’re young.

Even a two-year Associates Degree can be very helpful in getting a good job. It did me.

Really not liking this theme here, college is really not the best choice, unless you want to be a doctor or something that to have to have a degree for, college can be a waste! Especially now with all the huge student loan debts.
