Heart: Labor day is the celebration of the American workforce and its contributions to a successful country! Heart: In observance, I'll be sitting immobile and semiconscious in my favorite inflatable chair. Mom: You certainly deserve it. Heart: You know it, sister.

What way to celebrate Labor Day; be free of work in the day you celebrate work.

Enjoy it while you can kiddo because in the real world you’ll find that businesses don’’t close on Labor Day anymore. The “Right to Work Laws” that Republicans fooled everyone into enacting over the years has taken most of your rights away. You’ll likely find yourself working on holidays and celebrating the holiday later in the week by yourself on the exchange day. All the blood sweat and tears our unions spent fighting for American workers rights down the drain.

Susan SchroederNot even “on call” 24/7, and your working conditions would be a lot better if you did unionize. I had hopes for Ann, but she turned out to be just another Mark White but with two X chromosomes. Texas has only had two good governors, Sam Houston, removed because he wouldn’t levy war against the US, and James Allred, promoted to a federal judgeship. There were a few adequate governors, though. Texas has always had a “right to be exploited” law throughout my life (I’m 83). Stop making up these things. There are several Texans in this who will call you out.

“Work force” is two words, not one.
Let’s try that again.
