Back home, Heart? In all senses, I suppose! And shows her heart is in the right place!

well, that was a fine dream I s’pose

Thanks to Rand

Who sleeps in the sand

Dr. Seuss is no longer bland

Heart is getting smart

And sees that performing Seuss is an art

Now Heart needs to pray

She’ll get a role in the play

I like all the poetry comments, but man

Please try to make sure that your poem will scan.

Before you post something, make sure that you count

the syllables, and then correct their amount.

If you have to many or you have to few

or emphasize ones that you shouldn’t, then do

look over your poem and remedy that.

‘Cause thoughtful revision, man, is where it’s at.

Heart, don’t be a silly goose, try out for the play that’s all about Seuss.

I had a feeling that she was going to change her mind, but something tells me that she’s too late in trying out for the play.

If this was just an elaborate advertisement for Dr. Seuss, I’m never trusting comic strips again.
