With all these imaginative storylines lately does Heart even have the passion and ambition for the stage anymore?

Oh, no – is this going to be another weird dream sequence?

I take it Mom is going to take her temperature and see if she has a fever?

Accurate description: she feels like Jabba the Hutt looks.

(dislikes mentioning of “MEDIOCRE” in the last panel of the cartoon; feels sad for its character named “Heart”)

“Heart, rub in Vick’s on your soles and put on your socks and go to bed!”

That was my remedy for the kids and it worked. It put them to sleep and they woke up cheery eyed and ready to go.

If you want mom to react then start the projectile vomiting and explosive diarrhea. Gets them every time.

When I had the flu I did want to end the agony. I couldn’t sleep, eat, do things just feel miserable.

Does anyone know what that little item is in the last panel, upper right corner?

ACKSHUALEE the gorilla comment uses “like” so that isn’t so much a metaphor as a simil— who cares…

The sore throat is the worst part of cold/flu/COVID. Nothing comes even close!
