That’s what you get for trying to show off, Heart.

This is when you go the bakery of your choice and shell out some coin for a killer dessert. Problem solved…..

If you hadn’t kicked Mrs. Angelini out of the strip you wouldn’t be in this situation, just saying.

There’s nothing wrong with just going out and buying something.

I can’t understand how is possible be a terrible baker. All what you need is follow the recipe.

Where’s Mrs. Angelini when you need her?

That’s what happen when you don’t tel the truth since the beginning.

Jell-O Mold. Rice Krispies Treats. There are any number of desserts that don’t require baking. (Amazing how many of them use brand names.)

So who does eat the bread mom bakes?

Go buy a pie. Problem solved.

Buy some cake, some pudding, and whipped cream. Maybe some fruit. Layer it all in a big bowl. Now you have trifle.

We all have limited skill sets.

Then the two of you can figure out how to make something together, and it will be a bonding experience for you.

Just FYI: baking is an exact science . It is your math, chemistry and physics, and some biology thrown in, lessons applied to real life.

Even when making Rice Crispy squares a budding baker has to know about melting points and how to stir properly, otherwise, the whole thing coagulates into a large ball before it is spread out on a pan in a thinnish pancake to be cut soon enough that they will be little squares, and not one large mess…

So you spend money in the ingredients for something that you know will go wrong and then you spend more money buying pre-made bread?

Refrigerator cheese cake. No way you can fail. Just make sure you keep it refrigerated until served, because I did make that mistake once. Still tasted good, but it got a little runny sitting on the buffet table. My daughter could make it when she was 12.
