She’s a natural.

Has anyone with that little ability/practice in catching balls, in the history of sports, ever successfully caught such a ball?

Looks like somebody hired the old “give Peter a red hat when it’s usually purple” daily color artist from FoxTrot. Softballs can’t be green; they would blend in too much with the outfield grass.

That’s not how it would’ve gone in real life. School sucks, kids.

Pretty much my career in Little League. A home run, on errors, was all I needed. Never went back. (Every player, trying to throw me out, kept over-throwing the base players.)

That’s how they get you! Great to see such an inclusive group!

Kat was a lefty yesterday, and today so is Lee. Also, Kat seems to have lost her glove.

In my last organized baseball game (16 and American Legion type team), I drove in the go ahead run in the top of the 6th inning, and then, in the bottom of the 6th, got the last 2 outs by catching fly balls the were just over the fence. I had to stretch out really far both times to catch them.

They were hit by the 2 best players on the opposing team.

My only moment in the spot light. It lasted about 10 minutes, and then life retuned to normal.

Sweet, sweet luck. The rest of the game doesn’t matter. Everybody will be talking about that perfect catch.
