Thanks a good question. What do you use for Communion, if not wine?
Seems to me that if someone had enough money to buy a bottle of good wine, he/she should also have the money for their own corkscrew.
Consecrated diluted Welch’s grape juice.
Personally, I prefer actual wine for Communion, the “spirit” in it serving as a metaphor for the Holy Spirit. But some churches consider all alcohol sinful, and others are concerned for recovering alcoholics. Mine offers both wine and grape juice.
