Prefer the flip phone. One did not have to worry about breaking the screen and need to buy stuff to keep it safe. Quite frankly TV was better – no freezing, no pixiliation – dishwashers and other appliances actually worked when you bought them (look at reviews of them), the light bulb was in the back of the fridge so it was not wasting space and one did not get burned on it, etc.
As to the original idea of the strip – As a 1770’s reenactor you would be amazed at what people – adults and children alike – do not not know about the past and what was when.
