Do I get a senior discount?

I’m still good.

So, as someone over 65, I can’t buy wine, why, because I might fall down too much?

Ouch, that really hurts your ego and maybe your self-esteem a little!

I was carded at a Target liquor store last year, and carded at a Smashburger restaurant the year before. I was 55+ years old. I think the youngsters who work in those places will card anyone who looks or dresses differently. Apparently, the fact that I was wearing a summer dress in the middle of the summertime made me look ‘suspicious’, enough to verify my ID.

I get carded to verify that I am eligible for the Senior Citizen discount. Apparently being bald with a grey beard isn’t enough.

I’ve been told I look like I’m in my early sixties. I’ll be 76 in 4 months.

Also when I was kid I got into the movies for child prices till I was 15. I got my first Playboy when I was 18 in 1966. Nobody stopped me. But I did carded when I was 29.
