Thanks…..and that is heartfelt.Been doing this for 33 years and counting.Its now coaching the new breed on how to be a “good” officer. We have enough bad ones.
I used to be a speeder, now that I’m older, common sense rules, and I respect the Trooper and the Patrol. They never know who or what they face at a road stop.
If you don’t have a detector, follow a trucker (don’t tailgate!) and match his speed. It’s the best radar detector you can’t leave home without. This works best on the Interstate but saved me bucks back in the day. :-)

Troopers were angry when these they stopped warned others.They should have been happy since it meant more would slow down.

@Veteran
Figure out the frequency of the radar. Detect the pulse, invert it and transmit it back in phase at the same amplitude and same frequency.
Or angle the corners of the car to reflect the radar waves away from the source and paint the car in radar-absorbing paint.
Or set off a stick of dynamite wrapped in aluminum foil on the roof of the car. It probably won’t work, but it’s a lot more fun.

Hey good buddy. It’s not a good idea to broadcast while Smokey is standing next to you.
