I had this discussion back in the days of usenet about how to dress for an interview.
One respondent replied, “If you are going to turn me down because of what I am wearing, then you are passing on the world’s greatest programmer.”
I responded, “I don’t need the world’s greatest programmer, I need the world’s greatest employee.” If you are not willing to play the game at the interview, how can I expect you to play the game in real life?
