Herman must be related to the Born Loser.

Had an uncle who was a cook in the Army. He was very good. The main problem was that he couldn’t do it for any fewer than twenty people.

MY father was a cook in the Army, never sank a boat or tank. Blew an engine on a truck once, got it fixed in time to feed the troops.

Cook on a tug after that, quit just because he could.IT sank in a storm out of Mobile not long after.

all my friends who were in the navy had to peel spuds at one time or another, for the cook

lol, ok i’ve actually been in this same situation with my husband, went out canoe ride and five minutes later we are tipped over
