My father had a TV repair shop (back when you actually repaired things and didn’t just buy new). I would go with him to house calls in case he had to bring the TV back to his shop. There were some houses with an overload of cats where the place smelled badly and the inside of the TV was covered with cat hair (old style electronics created a lot of static which attracted the hair through the cooling slots in the back). A few even had cat crap in them. The worse were full of roaches. Those stayed in his work truck with a roach bomb overnight.
It is not a cat(or dog) problem. It is an owner problem. If you are not to take care of your cats or dogs, give them to someone who will. You are not doing the cats and dogs a favor.

With 98 cats I don’t think I would want the house or the furniture. As for the car it depends on how many cats she carried around in it.
