Take the door off. We had take the legs off of our baby grand to get it in. Good thing the bassoons and contrabassoon were taken apart and in their cases. Don’t talk to me about what Canadian Customs wanted to do to them when we crossed the border. Fortunately the bagpipes were already up here when we moved.
Bought a very heavy old upright piano. Asked the salesman if I could get it moved into my 3rd floor apartment. He said no problem. He was not one of the men who came to deliver it. They got it up the stairs with quite a bit of difficulty and politely asked me to call someone else if I ever wanted it moved again.

I couldn’t play it before.
I don’t think I’ll be able to play it like that either.

The piano is OK. But getting in and out the door is going to be a challenge.

As long as he can stand up. Bench is not an option in that situation.

OK for duets, one player inside the other outside.
