I understand completely. When I run out of solid chocolate, I have been know to hit the Hershey syrup bottle in the fridge.

Absolutely. Ever hear of maple cured bacon, maple smoked ham, maple glazed ham, maple syrup bacon (ok, I didn’t hear of that last one until this past March but I’m knew of the the first three for years).
