Dot: I shoveled the front walk and the driveway. Frank: I was going to have Joey do that. Dot: Frank, you've been on the phone for an hour trying to get Joe to come over here. Dot: He's got his own property to worry about. Besides, I enjoyed shoveling it. Shoveling is fun! Frank: I hope you're happy! Your poor mother was out there breaking her back!
I always enjoyed shoveling snow. It was one exercise I could do without overheatingl I would start off in layers of clothes, and by the time I was about 1/4 way done, I was down to tee-shirt and jeans. The only reason I kept gloves on was to prevent blisters and I wore sunglasses to prevent snow blindness. I used to be able to shovel 2-3 hours w/o a break. Not any more. Age has caught up with me.
