Does Yolanda have schizophrenia—split personality—so that Yolanda & Carla might be the same person? Is that what Joe is trying to say? (Schizophrenia means never having to be alone)

Schizophrenia is not multiple personality – the split is from reality. Frequently it means always being alone.

[Year long tally: 28 Nonsensical : 265 Realistic] Thank you Robb for today’s realistic and funny comic!! +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Not sure how this story arc will go, but if there is a mental illness aspect that one of them (Carla/Yolanda OR Crunchy) truly has…. then their days on the force (and in the strip?) may have to be limited. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++However, if this is all going to turn into a sort of “I Love Lucy” comedic sort of romp, then the Yolanda/Carla character will still likely have to “bow out” unless Crunchy’s good looks, animal magnetism, and physical prowess win her over in the end and she says “yes”.

Since Yolanda Ruiz is a dead-ringer for Marcie, maybe MARCIE is really Carla. The reason she knows so much about Crunchy is that Crunchy tells Joe everything, and Joe naturally tells Marcie.

NG49—-I agree, as I looked it up before I made my original post, & I probably was in poor taste for something that is a terrible problem for those afflicted with it. I guess some things should not be joked about. My oppologies.
