I just came on this with eye doctor. Aircraft place hubby retired from did not renew a major medical insurance and picked up a generic that has been on the news a lot. This generic was not picked up by current eye doctor and I really do not want to change eye doctor, may have to. Why pay extra for an eye appointment when I’m already paying insurance coverage. This is a good strip that is affecting a lot of people on medical news. The fine point of a print.

Not all insurance companies can go into all 50 states. I know as I used to work for one and they couldn’t sell any health insurance in about 3 or 4 states.

If there was a single payer health plan (Yes, Government administered just like Medicare and Medicad) the issue would go away. The health insurance companies will continue with the fine print in order to increase profits. The real “death panels” reside within the health insurance industry. It really doesn’t matter if they can or cannot cross state lines, the bottom line is that they have made health and medicine a commodity. That’s just wrong.

Year long tally: 29 Nonsensical : 295 Realistic] Thank you Robb for today’s realistic and funny comic!! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++The realistic vote is because of “Doctor.” Appleby’s approach to medical insurance. I like Robb’s take on this. I personally wish that all of us would receive the same health care regardless of age, marital status, the job we have, and what our employer chooses to dole out to us. I say we should have national health care for all.
