When I was in college in my home town, my buddy and I would often study late and stay over at one house or another. We’d each rave about the other’s mom’s cooking, and it started a friendly competition. We were the benefactors. It was wonderful!!!

…and so it begins

Rule one nobody cooks better than mom

Made my sister laugh, last night, when she called. I had to coax my cats back in off the balcony. When she asked me why the cats were on the balcony in the first place, , I told her it was because I’d cooked. I didn’t even have to tell her that I had to let the smoke out of the apartment.

When I was in college I had an on-campus apartment. One day a friend told me that one of my neighbors (a friened of hers) told hr that people would go out of thier way to walk past my door at dinner time just so they could smell. As a single guy I’m still a decent cook, and I enjoy it too.

She’ll be sharpening her knives…
