Ashburn, too true and not recent. I remember a math major in 1971 who was mocked and criticized until he switched to “soul courses” major.

I always wondered why speaking proper grammar was considered ‘white’. When I hear this so called ‘black" talk I wonder if they are even teaching language arts in school anymore. I remember the verb ’to be" was rammed down our throats. You know ..I am, you are, they were. When I hear someone use the improper use of ’seen’ I almost scream!!!
