In my line of work, I see plenty of parenting mistakes. Every suspect is somebody's child, Its sad. Some kids were given too much, some were given way too little. Parenting is very difficult. Ever haul in mom and dad for interrogation?
When the principal of our daughter’s elementary school called to tell us the little darling had been caught smoking, I told him I had no trouble believing that, and he had our permission to punish her to any degree the school board allowed. I though the man was going to drop the phone.
