Funny, I used to sing the same one (in French) when one of my friends was driving. My second favourite was “Lord, here I come”
I totally relate to this. I’ve prayed along the way when I survived some car rides with older relatives as they forgot the way back to their home.
My mom drove with one pedal or the other on the floor. She didn’t drive – she lurched. When we inherited her car, it had 15,000 miles and needed a brake job.
That should be a clue!
You’d think she’d know that tune by now if she realizes she hears him hum it every time she drives and he rides shotgun.
