Is it me or are her glasses lenses become clearer?

I confused people when I mentioned my cousin in law in law was a glider pilot in WW-II. (my wife’s first cousin’s husband)

In my family my uncle Larry is my mother’s uncle Larry. Larry was the youngest child in his (my grandmother’s) generation and he married my dad’s oldest sister. When my mom married my dad her uncles wife became her sister-in-law, but it didn’t change her relationship with her uncle.

Actually, in Spanish they would be consuegras and their husbands would be consuegros. Don’t know about the equivalent in Hebrew.

Phatts, Children of siblings are first cousins to each other.. A child of one of the first cousins is first cousin once removed (removed by one generation) from the first cousin of the parent.. A grandchild of a first cousin is first cousin twice removed (removed by two generations) from the first cousin of the grandparent. .et cetera.. Children of first cousins are second cousins to each other. .Children of second cousins are third cousins to each other. .Every step away from a common generation is a remove.
