So Marcie is happier doing what she does and figures to be unhappy if promoted. More money is never worth the aggravation of being promoted. Remember the Peter Principle. In my 28.5 years of working, I worked for 9 supervisors, except for 3 who were good at and enjoyed the work, every other person promoted to supervisor was either A-incompetent or B-scared-so much that you could smell the fear. or C-both scared and incompetent. The 3 good ones were female, the 6 bad ones were male.

Marcie – you will train 100’s of nurses thus saving 1000’s more patients than you ever could.

Lol sure go for it and for the record Marcy did what was best for her and I think she made the right decision
