I guess I am different, if I come upon nurse or doctor in scrubs, usually does not happen, I would not go for free medical advice, they do not have my history. Outside medical office same with doctor if he was with his family I would not ask just say hello.
Scrubs are actually clothes you toss if you have been EXPOSED to blood or other bodily fluids or to communicable diseases. Most hospital workers who AREN’T in that position often wear their scrubs. Think! Dr’s do their rounds in their office clothing and their only other covering is, usually, an unbuttoned White jacket. And yet… Off they go back to their office or home.

“Hmm. How long have you been dying of this?”
“Of what?!?”
“Oh. You don’t know? Forget I said anything. Just be sure to go straight to the emergency room when you leave here.”
(“See if she ever asks again.”)

Well, if people see an opportunity to get free medical advice they would be foolish not to jump on it!

Scrubs are supposed to be used to help prevent infection going into, and coming out of, hospitals. And she wears them THERE?

How long has Marcy been a nurse that she doesn’t know how to deal with this sort of thing?

Same thing happens if a group knows that a medical Dr is present, people want a free diagnosis

Maybe she didn’t have time to go home and change first. I’d be sure I had a change of “civilian” clothes at work.
