How about meat made from plants, like a grass-fed steak?

A number of years ago a letter appeared in a San Francisco newspaper (I think it was the CHRONICLE). The thrust of the letter was to shame hunters who kill animals for meat. The author encouraged hunters to “go to the store and buy the meat that was made there, where no animals were harmed.”

Forget hanging the lawyers. How about hanging the food faddists?

I know, it’s really a weird word.

Sorry, if I wanted to eat plants. I’d eat them, but they are not a substitute for meat and never ever will be.

beef is from the rigorous processing of plants from the most natural processing “machine” known to the planet!

Does vice-versa mean “meat that tastes like plants” or “meat that tastes like meat”?

I prefer fresh, organic meat and vegetables.

I don’t know of any Meats that tastes like Plants.

But the food with the least amount of processing. If you are vegan or vegetarian, just don’t eat meat. It is foolish to want your veggies to taste like meat and vice versa.

Plants that taste like meat…that would be ‘grass’, after the process of ingestion, mastication, and digestion by something called ‘cow’.

Never happen. The only reason for the former is that so many eat meat.
