Of course he did…the longer they stay alive, the less often he has to buy a new bouquet!

We should leave flowers in their proper place instead of picking them. They’re living things. I don’t want to kill them.

The only flowers my wife likes are in the yarden. Fruit tree blossoms, berry bushes, anything that hummingbirds or bees like. After three years of trying to grow sunflowers, we have two volunteers in tomato bags.
